What the heck does spring cleaning have to do with bondage furniture? You may wonder where you could put a nice piece of furniture, and if you get rid of some stuff that is in the way or never used, perhaps you can find that space. It’s not just a frivolous idea, either. More and more studies (whether formal or informal) are showing that a little “spice” in your sex life is a very good thing. We found this article interesting. A quote from the article:
A new study finds that practitioners of bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism, or BDSM, score better on a variety of personality and psychological measures than “vanilla” people who don’t engage in unusual sex acts. BDSM is a sexual practice that revolves around those four fetishes.
And why can’t the spice include some BDSM, whether mild or major? Even some rather historically tame women’s magazines are touting the benefits of a little kinky play in the bedroom. Not, of course, that we need the stamp of approval from Woman’s Day or Women’s Health; in fact, we would never really want it to go totally mainstream. After all, the taboo nature of sex in general, and BDSM in particular, is one of the attractions for many people.
But, we here at Bonnie & Clyde Furniture try to appeal to the entire spectrum, from mild bondage and spanking, all the way to stuff far beyond what we practice. We are not here to judge, but of course, always stress trust, safety, and consent in your activities.
So, clean out a spare room, or make some space available in your family room, bedroom, or even garage (we use our garage frequently). Since our furniture disassembles easily, and stores in its shipping box, you can use it frequently even if you have no dedicated space.
Until next time,
Clyde
