Right, I know. It’s just the end of August, and here is Bonnie talking about Halloween. But, you know what? I saw Brach’s Halloween Pumpkins in the store the other day, so I think I’m late getting this post out. So, there.
Anyway, for the past couple of years, we have had several customers who practically begged us to get out “rush” orders so they could have this or that piece of bondage furniture before their special Halloween Dungeon Party, or some other variation on that theme.
Now, that’s great and all, but we only have so many hands, and saws, and fingers to sew, etc., so I thought this year I would throw out a request that you think a bit earlier about the piece(s) you might want for your party this year. And of course, that you will continue to use throughout the subsequent months and years. Yes, our furniture is well-crafted and long-lasting. And beautiful, I might add.
What are some of the pieces that are most popular for this time of year? Hand’s down winner is the Medieval Stock, in any of 
the variations. This lends itself very well to dressing up, and, in fact, we have had several people over the years purchase one of these even if they are not into BDSM at all. They use them for Medieval plays and things like that.
Also popular at this time (and always) is the Classic Sawhorse with Pads, our best seller by far at any time of the year, with good reason. It is the most versatile (in my humble opinion), and it’s also a fine all-around piece of bondage furniture. It’s beautiful, to boot, especially when stained to perfection. Favorite stain colors are cherry, special walnut, and my new favorite, ebony.
Next on the popularity list would be the St. Andrew’s Cross. We would highly recommend purchasing with the new(ish) fully padded version that you can see to the left. It is absolutely stunning. We have made them in all black, black with red pads, cherry with black pads, and they all look beautiful.
For something that is easy to transport to a party, in case you are attending someone else’s, the Kneeling Prayer Bench is quite nice. Here’s why I think it’s a great costume party idea. One could be
costumed as a stern praying type, complete with Bible, but then have another more interesting costume underneath the presumably shapeless clothes, along with some shackles and a whip! How fun would that be?
