A customer recently contracted with us to furnish a complete basement filled with custom bondage furniture. We had pictures and dimensions of the room, and this customer wanted one of each item we build. This got us to thinking about those people who have the luxury of an extra room. They can actually keep their BDSM furniture assembled (and ready) at all times.
As anyone who has been on our site for any amount of time knows, we are all about providing bondage furniture that can be easily assembled and disassembled for those of us who either do not have the space for a fully equipped BDSM room in their home, or have family members who have no idea of their proclivities (and want to keep it that way).
We do specialize in the ease of storing your bondage furniture when not in use. But that doesn’t mean our customers, be they so fortunate, cannot keep their arsenal at the ready at all times. That, my friends, would of course be the goal, would it not?
This customer had many ideas floating through his head. He wanted to consult with us about colors, finishes, and the like. Should all pieces be the same color? Same color vinyl? Some finished and some unfinished? Obviously, there are all sorts of ways you can go with this. Some might want all the pieces to be uniform finish (this would not be Bonnie’s choice for sure).
Others might go for the unfinished look, or even the faux-weathered look. I have to say that for the stock, especially, this look is more than awesome, and something we may be offering in the near future. Can you just imagine the stock looking like the picture to the right? Complete with gouges, maybe burn marks (from the candles dripping hot wax!).
So, if you are lucky enough to have the space and need some inspiration for how to design your very own bondage room, by all means, drop us a line–we are more than happy to custom design pieces with any number of different finishes.
Until next time,
~Clyde
